Our Community
Fuller Plants is proud to be a part of Fort Wayne’s East State Village since 2022. Every year we partner with local nonprofit organizations and other local small businesses to help foster a community of love and support for everyone. Here’s a short summary of what we’re doing in our community.
Our biggest event of the year, Brian‘s Birthday Fundraiser, is held in February. Fuller Plants donates a large percentage of the days’ sales to Shepherd’s House. This fundraiser, named for Jessica’s late brother, intends to bring attention to the challenges some of our service members face after returning home from duty. To learn more about Shepherds House and how they help our community, visit their website at www.shepherdshouse.org
Outside of our shop, you can find Fuller Plants throughout the year at multiple events and markets around NE Indiana. Some of the bigger events include Fort Wayne Pride (July), Eco-Fest (May), Fort Wayne Tattoo Convention (Aug), and Bloomfest (Aug). Make sure to like and follow us on TikTok, Facebook and Instagram for the latest on upcoming events and markets!
We also periodically host educational classes on topics like watering, lighting, and soil composition. New plant parents, and those who want to learn more about plants, can send us a message to schedule private workshops, or reserve a spot at one of our advertised classes. You’ll find shop events, including Restorative Yoga, on our social media and under the Workshop filter when shopping online.
Finally, at Fuller Plants, you’ll find multiple products sourced from other local businesses and women-owned companies. The majority of our living inventory is intentionally handpicked from Indiana based greenhouses. When we cannot obtain specific plants or products, we promote community over competition by referring other local businesses and greenhouses that may have what our customer is looking for.
